B2B Web Designer position is a fast-paced, customer/digital-focused experience delivery role. The path to success is being in touch with various customer segments and specifiers, in the Building Materials industry, working across regional and global business teams, and finding a passion for the architecture and building material industry.

The Web Designer will be part of the Digital Marketing Team, working in close partnership with the OBE Marketing, OBE IT, GGS Sales and Operations Teams, SI Partners and play an important role in creating, updating and optimizing customer browsing and shopping experience on GGS websites and supporting the growth of revenue.

Here’s What You’ll Get to Do

  • Design engaging and intuitive to use fully responsive landing pages with clear focus on desired Call-to-Action elements
  • Support effective product catalogs and programs presentation
  • Supports and leverages digital assets creation, tagging, naming and categorizing in Digital Assets Managment platform
  • Employ industry and design best practice through website build process
  • Ensure website navigation and browsing function stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet
  • Conduct website testing and work with marketing and research teams to incorporate brand elements and relevant market research findings into website browsing and shopping experience
  • Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
  • Provide input and proactively review marketing/merchandising calendar to identify opportunities to optimize revenue and customer engagement through product, collections, themes, marketing, and educational presentation.
  • Form hypothesis and implement effective A/B testing of various design approaches and CTA presentations
  • Setups tracking and analyses key performance indicators for all important website sections and design elements
  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of website content and promotions across North America websites.
  • Review competitor and related industry websites to ensure close alignment with product classification and categorization, promotions, and trends.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • The ability to work from our Dallas office three times per week
  • 2+ Years of experience in digital marketing
  • Passionate about UX, design and digital marketing
  • Strong background in customer service and communication with external customers.
  • Open and accessible communication style, with the ability to consistently achieve positive results and collaborate across multifunctional teams.
  • Ability to effectively resolve competing priorities when addressing complex customer issues, complains and needs.
  • Willingness to learn about marketing Tech Stack and ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex customer issues successfully.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel as required
