Job Description

Our Moorestown location is currently seeking a Project Coordinator.  The Project Coordinator Coordinates between CS/Estimation and Production once order has been received to facilitate a product’s movement across production floor until delivery, working closely with Facility Manager and support their roles and responsibilities. They will be involved with order entry, estimating, and scheduling of the orders, and assist fabrication in clarification when needed. Position is Mon- Fri, 8am- 5pm. 

Here's What You'll Get to Do:

  • Assist with review of architectural, fabrication and shop drawing submittals against scope of work in the proposal.
  • Assist with preparing, updating and communicating project schedules.
  • Assist in reviewing/revising drawings, per red line mark ups and written directions from customer, and other submittal documents as needed.
  • Meet scheduled completion dates as outlined by the program schedule
  • Create and manage fabrication documents from the approved shop drawings or inputs provided
  • Assist with purchase of materials for each job
  • Assist scheduling of orders
  • Ability to estimate off of take-offs, and blue prints to give accurate pricing to customers
  • Coordinate outside resources as needed to achieve project delivery goals.
  • Create material order paperwork, quantifying aluminum parts, steel, custom hardware etc.
  • Assist with coordinating materials, inventory requirements and shipments through product design, fabrication and installation.

 

Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job.

Here's What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent math and trigonometry skills required
  • Must be capable of reading architectural plans and structural drawings.
  • Must be functional in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel/Word/Project.
  • Experience with CNC programming and panel fabrication documents a plus
  • Experience in supporting estimating and material coordination
  • Must be self-motivated and flexible, with the ability to function in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to write concise technical business correspondence.
  • Ability to work under pressure and comfortable with change and time constraints.
  • Ability to negotiate in a fair, firm, professional and friendly manner.
  • Experience in Engineering, Estimating, Construction related Manufacturing, or Commercial Glazing, Curtain Wall or Skylight industry is a plus.
  • Four (4) year B.S. Degree in Construction, Engineering or related discipline preferred.  Recent graduates welcome.
