Here’s What You’ll Get To Do   

  • Maintain and operate Insulbar equipment while producing parts to satisfy quality standards and production schedules
  • Support leads and management in their methods of making improvements
  • Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job
  • Performs dimensional inspection of product as required
  • Monitors and changes cutting tools (inserts) as needed
  • Loads, unloads, and pack products relative to the daily schedule
  • Aware at all times of correct orientation of product being placed in machinery
  • Must be prepared to complete minor maintenance as required
  • Drive forklift and perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Enters computer commands to retrieve stored parts data and programs
  • Pack materials in accordance with customer requirements
  • Reviews drawings to determine job specifications and requirements
  • Utilize resources to perform machining functions in a safe manner at all times
  • Review daily stock levels of product and re-stock based on visual/MRP indicators
  • Perform any additional duties that are assigned by the Manager/Supervisor

Here’s What We’re Looking For    

  • Proven ability to foresee changes relevant to area of responsibility
  • Proven ability to organize work assignments to ensure efficient operations of machining environment
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
  • Generate part programs that meet production objectives for optimum cost, quality, speed, throughput, and on-time customer deliveries
  • Capacity to learn and understand MRP programs
  • Must have basic PC skills
  • Must have the flexibility to set up and run machines in another department -Thermal
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to follow verbal and basic written instructions
  • Flexible work availability to work overtime as required
  • One year of previous work experience in a manufacturing or production facility

Physical Requirements    

  • Stand and walk for entire shift on concrete, up to 12 hours
  • Twist, bend and kneel
  • Lift, push, pull or move up to 75lbs individually or 150lbs with a partner
  • Grasp metal and turn hooks and clamps by hand
  • Lift aluminum extrusions overhead and at head level individually and with a partner
  • Requires constant reaching, handling and grasping while turning of upper body while moving and lifting
  • Visual acuity to inspect aluminum for various quality flaws
  • Proper wear of all required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Temperatures are consistent with same outdoor climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
